What you will do
We are looking for self motivated embedded software professional who will design, develop and maintain embedded system for Smart Medic (APAC medical product).
The role requires working with the NPD team to develop SmartMedic product for emerging market and building POCs for new opportunities.
The candidate must have experience in embedded software lifecycle, baremetal and OS based design and development. Candidate should be open to exploring new technologies and paradigms for programming. The candidate should have experience in NPDP and should be well versed in the documentation requirements for each design review stage.
What you need
  • Design, develop, maintain and review embedded software.
  • Review electrical design and suggest optimal solution
  • Collaborate with peers and vendor partners in software engineering, software quality assurance, project and product management to define, build and review software that meets requirements.
  • Must have experience in generating technical requirement from DI.
  • Interact with cross functional teams for requirements development and V&V activities.

Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors/Masters degree in Electronics or Computers or ECE
  • 13+ years of relevant experience required
  • Mandatory experience in
    • baremetal embedded software programming
    • embedded Linux - OS customization and driver development
    • Digital interfacing protocols SPI, I2C, UART, USB
    • programming languages, such as: C, C++, shell script
    • IPC and thread & process synchronization methodologies
    • Read schematics and electrical design
    • Ability to debug software and hardware/schematics at high level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and simulators
    • Experience in protocols like MQTT, REST, HTTP, TCP/IP
    • Experience in Wifi and Bluetooth. Experience on BLE profiles and implementation
    • Must have experience on IoT based design architectures
