Position: Presales Head – Network Security

Role:

  • Provide pre-sales support to our sales team to win cases related to Network and Security technologies. He should having an experience of solution sales in Security, Network security , Cloud Security , Data center security services . He should have an added knowledge of implementation of the technologies and experience of trouble shooting also. He will have to create the capability for giving network and security services end to end.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for supporting the sales team and analysing the market trends to determine the ideal solution.
  • Handling the responsibility of IT pre-sales in Network security
  • Pre-sales support for clients and security consulting opportunity for designated accounts in support of key territory sales and account plans to achieve and exceed defined targets
  • Design solution, BoQ, scope of work and support
  • Making BOM, RFQ , RFI etc.
  • Engaging customers and partners, capturing requirements, proposing technical solution and overseeing the selection of technologies/products, scoping and estimating resources and effort needed to deliver the business value solutions to the customer successfully and achieving high level of customer satisfaction - to own and manage the whole process
  • Scope and clearly translate defined requirements, proposed solutions and value proposition into proposals/ Statement of Work (SOW).
  • Present and articulate our value proposition to customers at all levels within the organization both technical and business audience (including C-levels)
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of the solutions and services offered by overall
  • Handling the existing accounts and evaluating sales opportunities for new prospective clients.
  • Ensuring sales target and KPI targets are achieved.
  • Presenting sales pitches for company product offerings to the CIOs/CXOs of prospective clients.
  • Designing and implementing highest standards of customer service and satisfaction across all areas of business.
  • Give a company sales-person to understand and Qualify the opportunity
  • Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.
  • Educate to internal team and customer about latest technologies and product update
  • Build relationship with OEM for Technical support and assistance
  • Tracking of all tasks and projects of the presales technicians. Review mechanism with the senior leadership of the company.

Required Skills and Knowledge

  • Deep Understanding of Network Security solution. ( Firewalls, IPS, )
  • Deep product knowledge of Microsoft, Linux, VMware etc.
  • Overview of IT Security and network (Gateway Security, Network Security, End point Security) with product knowledge of Checkpoint, Fortinet, PaloAlto, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Crowdstrike, Sophos, Mcafee, Trendmicro, Force point, MDM solutions etc.
  • Familiar with security solution, and create BoQ, scope of work and support (firewall, WAF, UTM, End point Security solution, DLP, AV )
  • Should have a deep experience in deployment and sustenance of the security solutions.
  • Knowledge of Managed service model/outsourcing model for understanding the need of an enterprise and suggest solutions . SLA based Manpower and FMS services around Security.
  • Knowledge of Cloud Security technologies of AWS, GCP and Azure, Certification will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in preparing technical architecture blueprint and responding to large scale complex RFP is highly desirable
  • Working knowledge and familiarity with Virtualization and Cloud technology is desirable
  • Educate to internal team and customer about latest technologies and product update
  • Build relationship with OEM for Technical support and assistance
  • Must be able to quickly come up to speed on a new industry solution
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with minimal supervision
  • IT literate and proficient in the use of computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Power Point.
  • Persuasive, articulate and able to work with and influence people at all levels, diverse background/ industries and personalities.

  • Able to work in a calm, logical and professional manner always.

  • Good organisational and administrative skills.

  • Creative & out of the box thinking.

  • Report writing skills.

Required Work Experience:

  • 5-7 years of proven presales experiences in IT Security solution selling to Corporate/ Enterprise customers.
  • Must have at least 5 years of strong hands-on experience in IT Security with at least 2 years in technical solutioning and presales
  • Must have experience in a customer-facing role and comfortable presenting to a small to medium audiences on both technical and business related topics
