Key Skills:
  • Experience in managing all version & edition of Oracle Databases with RAC & DR environment (all versions of database)
  • Experience in Upgrades and Platform migration
  • Strong implementation experience and troubleshooting
  • Strong RDBMS fundamentals
  • Experience in Oracle allied products like Golden Gate/DB Vault/etc
  • Maintain/Implement/Support in 24/7 (Both Onsite/Offshore)
  • Experience in Middleware Weblogic administration
  • Knowledge in Oracle E-Business Suite (R12 and above)
  • Knowledge in JBoss management
  • Manage Database in different environments like Windows, Unix & Linux
  • Perform Database Health Checks
  • Install, patch and maintain all Database
  • Design and implement a backup & recovery system
  • Configure and Manage RAC environment
  • Configure and Manage Data guard Environment
  • RMAN/Logical backup & restore activities.
  • Application Patching, Patch Management & Patch Analysis Design and implement a backup & recovery system
  • Performance Monitoring & Tuning
  • Knowledge in MSSQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL RDMS
  • Configure OS Scripts (bash/Shell)
  • Should have Hands on Experience in monitoring and management tools.
  • Strong in preparing Knowledge Base Documents & SOP
  • Good in ITIL/ITSM Process – Incident, Service Requests, Change Management & Problem Management
  • Strong in adopting the SLA Governance.
  • Effective coordination & Interaction with OEM for Highly Critical technical support

Key Responsibilities:
  • Solutioning towards Database requirement not limited to Oracle
  • Escalation lead for Database related issues
  • Design and implement a DC & DR environment
  • Flexible to extend beyond work hours towards accomplishing assigned tasks.
  • Planning and supporting network infrastructure
  • Risk analysis and mitigation (for configuring new networks)
  • Interaction with OEM for Highly Critical technical support.
  • Responsible for Reports & Technical documentation.
  • Should be capable to guide the team/individual on requirement basis.
  • Communicate effectively with Customers
  • Responsible for MIS Reports/ Technical documents
  • Customer/Vendor Co ordination
  • Adhere to ITSM based Ticket Management with SLA Compliance

Candidate Profile:
  • 5 - 6 years in Database Management
  • Minimum 2 to 3 Implementation cycle (individual contributor)
  • Adoptive for 24x7 Shift Support
  • Excellent spoken and written English Communication.
  • Good attitude towards corporate environment.
  • Team player & Mentor to the team.
  • Energetic, self-motivated and self-sufficient in accomplishing tasks.
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills.
