About the team
This role is a part of ourRemote Infrastructure Management Team.Develop core versions of software applications for sale to external clients. Identifies client purchasing requirements and technical specifications through Product Management and/or client representatives. Interacts with engineering groups to assist in design changes to equipment and/or software. Trains and communicates with clients on systems application.
What you will be doing

  • 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Oracle Standalone/RAC Database Administration (10g to 19c)

  • Must have hands on experience in Exadata and ODA administration and Pathing.

  • Must have good knowledge and working experience in golden gate.

  • Must have experience in configuration and administration of Oracle multitenancy.

  • Must have working knowledge on Azure/OCI cloud technologies and be able to install, configure and administer database servers on cloud platforms.

  • Must have Oracle Data guard experience

  • Must have working experience with Linux environments.

  • Must be well versed in OEM configuration and administration.

What you bring:

  • Database performance monitoring and tuning: Closely monitor performance, identify problems and perform RCA and implement solutions.

  • Database backup/recovery: Ensure that data recovery time objectives are established and met, verify implementation of accurate backup strategy, develop recovery procedures, support recovery from loss of data caused by user or system error, should be well versed in RMAN.

  • Install and upgrade/patch ORACLE (10g to 19c) on various environments,

  • automate/improve monitoring procedures at regular intervals.

  • use or develop tools to reorganize or defragment database table spaces, tables, and indexes.

  • provide innovative and efficient solutions to maximize productivity and improve performance
