1. Responsible for providing maintenance Level 2 (Coding) support for enterprise level web-based systems. Co-ordinate and provide all help to L1 support team.
2. Identifying faults and issues and recommending appropriate paths to resolution, and fixing as appropriate
3. Responsible to fix issues and make major modification to web applications using full life-cycle development (design, coding, and testing).
4. Understands and has worked in issue tickets based environment.
5. Understands standard systems development lifecycle processes and applies development methodology effectively.
6. Manage Change Control and must be aware of Change Management principles (ITIL)
7. Contributing to process development and best practice. Looking at new ways to improve resilience, performance levels and supportability
8. To ensure that applications and related services are documented and kept current.
9. Reviewing and ensuring complete and appropriate handover of documentation prior to operational acceptance of new or changed applications
10. To keep abreast of technical developments of operational importance to the company and to participate in developing or setting standards as directed.
11. Experience of building and maintaining applications in a multiplatform environment
12. Experience of working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams with a focus on delivery in a rapidly changing environment.
