    Summary of Role:
    we are seeking Senior CMOS IC design engineer focused on RF High- performance & mmWave circuit design. This role will include CMOS mmWave circuit design to deliver best-in-class performance. Of particular importance will be designing low-noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers, VCOs, and PLLs in leading edge CMOS technologies ranging from SOI to FINFET. RF and mmWave Pathfinding involves identifying, designing and demonstrating circuit and system architectures synergistic with RF/mmWave process technology and emerging market RFIC requirements.
    Essential Responsibilities:
    Develop state-of-the art RF and mmWave circuit, block and subsystem level designs for emerging market highly-integrated radio transceiver requirements
    Design, implement and tape-out relevant prototype designs on internal test chips and MPWs
    Layout critical elements of circuitry, and/or work with physical design and verification engineers
    Perform electrical simulations on benchmark circuits to meet specifications
    Provide feedback from the design results to the modeling and PDK teams Characterize initial silicon and work with external test resources for comprehensive testing of sufficient quantities of ICs to demonstrate achievement of critical performance requirement. Also document all the design, measurements and correlation silicon vs simulation
    Qualifications
    Required Qualifications:
    MS in Electrical Engineering or higher degree in RF and mmWave design.
    Min 7 yrs experience with Transmitter, Receiver blocks design
    Relevant industry experience in transistor-level RFIC design in nanometer scale CMOS technologies (FDX experience is a plus)
    Deep understanding of the design of some of the key blocks including LNAs, Mixers, VCOs, PA driver, LO Chain, etc.
    Knowledge of WiFi and 5G System is a plus.
    Experience with Cadence EDA tools, RFIC layout, circuit simulators and electromagnetic simulators. Experience with lab characterization of RF, mmWave, Analog, and/or Mixed-Signal integrated circuits is desirable.
