Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
Determine the root cause and provide recommendations to prevent future failures.
Evaluate, study and develop materials and processes to recommend manufacture pipes, pipelines, pressure vessels and other products for use in operations.
Conduct studies and analyze the properties and characteristics of metal,
Plan, design and develop piping & associated equipment's used to transport gases and liquids related to oil & gas production and refining.
Key duties include conducting studies on materials to determine failure conditions, designing processes for corrosion prevention,
designing welding programs that adhere to regulatory requirements and supervising processes and production staff engaged in these processes.
Research and develop new alloys to meet specific requirements, provide technical guidance and input to address corrosion concerns,
materials choices for repair or replacement of existing piping, vessels, equipment's and review of welding procedures.
Desired Candidate Profile
BE/B Tech in Metallurgy with 7+ yrs of experience in Oil & Gas, Refinery or Petrochemical plants.
