Global Finance & Business Management (GF&BM) India is a combined LOB-aligned (Line of Business-aligned) finance & business support team located in India and is part of JPMorgan's global capability center (GCC). We are part of the Office of the CFO (OCFO) organization within JPMorgan, which has 13000+ people across the globe, majority of whom are tasked with managing the firm's Finance function, responsible for reporting quarterly earnings and complying with regulatory requirements along with managing the firm's capital.
GF&BM India was established in September 2002 and currently we have a network of more than 3400+ professionals based out of our Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad offices who support four main pillars of work - Controllers, Planning & Analysis, Finance Operations and Business Client & Products. The teams in India are aligned to the respective LOBs that they support which include Corporate and Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking (CB), Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) and Corporate/Firmwide functions.

Merchant Services is the global payment processing business for JPMorgan Chase & Co and the world's leading merchant acquirer with over $1+ trillion in annual transaction volume. Merchant Services is a leading provider of payment, fraud, and data security for companies large and small and capable of authorizing transactions in more than 130 currencies.
Within Merchant Services, the Product Pricing Strategy team oversees Pricing decisions from initial conception through to execution and ongoing implementation. A core part of the Finance & Business Management group, the team helps bridge the gap between Product and Finance, supporting the broader modernization efforts across Merchant Services. We are seeking an Associate to join the group and help drive data and pricing analysis, as well as help define pricing strategies for the Merchant Services business. Which might be relevant and provide insight and decision support to the business and the leadership teams
About the Role
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Gather qualitative and quantitative information on Merchant Services product usage, leveraging a mix of internal (e.g., billing and usage data) and external (e.g., consultant reports) data sources
  • Develop Pricing models for new and existing Merchant Services products, including specific recommendations on pricing and broader go-to-market strategies
  • Support execution of pricing initiatives and recommendations through close coordination of internal partners and stakeholders including Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Billing teams
  • Communicate with regional pricing teams to monitor any regulatory changes and impact on pricing
  • Ad hoc analysis as required including financial modelling, support of customer requests and customer profitability
  • Document and provide presentation materials for business and finance stakeholders
  • Ensure financial information is in compliance with US/EU/Canada and firm's corporate accounting policies, documenting exceptions where appropriate.

Desired Candidate Profile:
  • MBA in Finance/CA with 3+ years & above experience within the Financial Services - preferred with financial modeling or Merchant Pricing an advantage
  • Ability to research issues/problems and provide a solution-based approach
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail and spotting trends
  • Analytical mind-set, structure approach, attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and team-building skills
  • Ability to manage several projects and tasks concurrently
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence including the ability to present complex and sensitive matters to Senior management, Product Managers & Business Managers across levels.
  • Good leadership & motivational skills
  • Team player and ability to work closely with global team members and other groups in the organization.
  • Good knowledge of Payments business products is a plus.
  • Prior experience in SQL, Alteryx, QlikView, Xceptor, Robotics, Tableau, VB Macros, complex excel formulas, datasets within Excel, pivot tables and/or BI tools preferred
