We are looking for a talented hands-onManager, Software Engineering to help us build the next-gen Conga Platform. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to use his/her leadership skills and technical expertise to manage a team of dynamic engineers who design, develop, test, and maintain the Conga platform. This person will earn the respect of the team and his colleagues, will use his/her technical skills to provide the right direction to the team, and would apply the right leadership style to motivate and inspire people in the team.

We have jumped with both feet into API-first, cloud-first architecture including containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and NoSQL DBs to achieve these key metrics.
While located in India, thisManager, Software Engineeringrole will report to the Sr. Director of Software Engineer in the United States of America and will require frequent coordination with teams located in the United States of America.

  • Take ownership of one of the Platform Services areas and work closely with the tech leads, Architects and Software engineers to manage all aspects of Platform development
  • Be fully engaged and hands-on with design, coding, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
  • Lead the teams in the agile full lifecycle, including design, development, testing, planning, backlog grooming, and support
  • Perform as a trusted contributor requiring little to no supervision and demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines, exceed goals, and create benchmarks for success
  • Nurture the team culture that encourages collaboration, personal and team responsibility, and focuses on better design, scalable architecture, and customer success.
  • Be introspective, always trying to improve yourself and the team around you

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 10+ years with at least 3+ as an engineering manager
  • Solid communication skills and ability to convey technical solutions to the end-user of all levels of ability.
  • Have a proven track record in leading architecture, design, development and operations of enterprise-scale delivery platforms, products and services in high performance and high-availability SaaS or cloud environment
  • Proactive, self-driven, and enjoys solving complex problems, not just in the primary area of responsibility but across boundaries.
  • 10+ years of total experience preferably in .NET and C# and microservices with at least 3 years of experience managing a team of software engineers
  • Demonstrated success executing development work within an Agile environment.
  • Experience working with AWS/Azure cloud technologies.
