The Role Responsibilities

  • To exercise qualitative Governance over migrations executed as part of Group hubbing strategy.


  • Track and report time and cost effectiveness of all migrations


  • GBS Migration Execution

People and Talent

  • Train Migration/Project Managers on the various aspects of governance requirements and ensure changes in the same are effectively communicated

  • Drive project managers ensuring comprehensive documentation during project lifecycle - Toll gate documents, legal documents, etc

Risk Management

  • Identify, categorize/grade project related risks and ensure they are appropriately tabled in the respective risk forums

  • Tracking and managing adherence to migrations framework and methodology to ensure minimal risk from a regulatory and audit aspect.

  • Strictly adhere to escalation protocols and keep top management informed of issues in time


  • Perform Qualitative reviews of migration artefacts & other thematic reviews.

  • Contribute in enhancing Right Shoring Framework and identify measures to provide qualitative assurance.

  • Ensure documentation requirements for various stages of migration are met without dilution in standards

  • Liaison and manage audits by internal/external auditors and regulators

  • Publish Governance dashboards and other MIS reports

  • Facilitate and conduct various review meetings with Project Managers and other business linkages.

  • Identify themes and conduct various knowledge dissemination sessions to stakeholders

Regulatory & Business Conduct

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.

  • Ensure to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank&rsquos Conduct Principles

  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

  • RSE/Business/Function Project Managers

  • GBS Compliance team

  • Group SCM/TPRM linkages

Other Responsibilities

  • As maybe entrusted from time to time.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Graduate/Post-Graduate in any discipline with experience in Business/Operational Processes, Migration of processes to offshore locations & Governance thereof.

  • Project Management related qualifications/certifications desireable.
