About the team
Employment Law Team:
Employment Law team has two verticals. Compliance and Employee matters. his position is for the position of Senior Manager OR Manager in the Employment Law team (ER Related).
JOB SUMMARY:
The job profile includes handling complex employment law issues relating to the complete life cycle of an employee. Issues relating to recruitment, background verification, probation, training, disciplinary action, POSH, HR processes and policies, behavioral issues, employee queries relating to benefits, disbursal of death benefits.
Manage Legal notices, Notices from labour authorities, Misc. Notices, Disputes, and litigation including appearance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (BULLETS)
• Advise of Employment Law matters.
• Provide solution and strategies in resolving EL related issues.
• Provide end to end advice, review and finalization for matters relating to disciplinary action.
• Provide support and advise on matters relating to recruitments, offer revocation, BGV, training related and suitability issues etc.
• Advise on POSH related issues.
• Review of HR relates polices and processes.
• Advise on exit related matters.
• Managing legal notices and litigations.
• Handle cases and advise for employment law issues in Sri Lanka with the help of External Counsel.
• Conversant with all the labour codes and able to advise on the same.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
L.L.B
Experience in Employment Laws
• 7-9 years of relevant experience for Manager position
