Pfizer’s digital office is leading the transformation of Pfizer into a digital powerhouse that will generate superior patient experiences that result in better health outcomes.
The Analytics, Tools and Platforms team, is responsible for the development and management of all data and analytic tools and platforms across the enterprise. One of the team’s top priorities is the development of an enterprise data lake which will serve as the engine for the company’s digital transformation.
The Manager, Digital AIBI Corporate Functions Reporting & Analytics will support the analytical needs of our Corporate Functions area. This area primarily includes Human Resources, Learning, Legal and our Compliance teams. This role is responsible for all aspects of delivering data and analytics in these areas for our global customers. The role will advance the strategic direction of analytics and business intelligences by developing roadmaps for our technology stacks. It will then oversea the implementation of these roadmaps.
We are looking for an experienced, collaborative and results-driven manager to develop & expand our analytics ecosystems across Pfizer’s Enterprise. This person will develop and deliver quality solutions in a sustainable and timely manner. Their contributions should result in low operating costs, faster response times, high change velocity and result in professional achievement for the incumbent.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with peers, Managers & Directors of Analytics and Digital to develop & support our analytic strategy and roadmap for the Corporate Functions area.

  • Plan, gather requirements, design, build and deploy analytic solutions and data strategies across the Corporate Functions area.

  • This Manager is accountable for delivering analytical solutions on time, on budget, and with high quality delivery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders globally across all levels of the organization to enable accurate and high-quality analytics at a faster speed. Collaborate with internal and external organizations as needed to put together the data and analytics necessary to drive strategic initiatives, identifying interdependencies with other domains and functions

  • Understand our Corporate Functions operational needs and strategic direction, specifically in relation to data governance, business intelligence capabilities, solution & data architecture and processing in support of analytics

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Experience and Educational Requirements

  • Ideal candidate will have 5+ years of strong multi-discipline experience, with a preference for experience in information systems technology, computer science, analytics, management consulting or engineering.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree strongly preferred

  • Ideal candidate will have with related work experience as an established strategic thinker anchored in at least one of the team’s functional area responsibilities (Human Resources, Learning, Legal or Compliance).

  • This person will understand the role of data and analytics in business. They should have a proven track record of successfully delivering small to medium projects and programs (over $250k).

  • Knowledge of cloud-based architectures including AWS, S3, java, Redshift or Snowflake is a plus.

  • Must have strong software development skills, ideally from a hands-on engineering / IT background and ability to leverage this experience to define and deliver projects in an agile environment.

  • Knowledge and experience with reporting or dashboard tools is preferred.

  • Must be willing to learn new cloud-based analytics tools and technologies including: AWS, Spark, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, Mongo DB, Jira, EPV (Enterprise Password Vault), Hadoop, Java, Python, Talend, Redshfit, Bit Bucket or other open source data processing frameworks.

  • Exceptional verbal, written communication and organizational skills, along with interpersonal skills that allow for collaboration across a diverse group of people.
