Job Family Descriptor
Lead, plan and guide configuration management of all organizational processes and systems in terms of their development, deployment, assessment and improvement Drive process improvement, quality, transformational initiatives, operational excellence and other related best practices across organization. Deploy process improvement processes (Q2C, new product introduction) across the organization Procure buy-in from senior leadership for deployment of Business Excellence framework. Responsible for ensuring that services, products, processes and facilities are in compliance with BBPF/ETOM framework, and government regulations (TRAI etc.). Develop TBEM application document, identify areas of improvement and criteria for each function, Establishes quantitative measurements and techniques for measuring quality and drive improvements. Drive and monitor process definition and documentation of various business processes by teams. Conduct process and product quality audit, ISO audits and documents inspection records. Coordinate the ICSAT survey each year and analyze survey report findings. Present ICSAT survey findings and analysis to Senior Management and functional teams. Work with functional teams to identify significant Q2C projects and identify problem areas. Use statistical tools such as control-impact matrix. Conduct Quality related training programs for functional/cross-functional teams.
Broad outline of the Role
Drive successful end-to-end transformation projects in process control function, support streamlining of business processes across functions. Ensure that services, products, processes and facilities are in compliance with BBPF/ETOM framework, and government regulations (TRAI etc.)Identify functions and processes for focus, based on discussions with process owners Conduct business process modelling. Monitor project performance after roll-out, conduct trendline analysis. Operational role, responsible for delivering results that have direct impact on the achievement of results within the job area and may also impact a wider operational area. Self-sufficient, capable of identifying key issues and priorities and focusing on these to deliver required results with minimal direction and supervision. Able to identify problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques. Might lead/ mentor small teams Education: BE/Btech and MBA (preferably in operations) Experience: 2-5 years
