Position Overview

You will be joining the Chief Risk Office (CRO) Training and Development (T&D) team as a Learning and Development Analyst. The Chief Risk Office function is responsible for the management and control of all Credit, Market and Non-Financial Risks to protect the bank's capital, integrity and reputation.
The role of the CRO T&D team is to develop the strategy for training and development in CRO. We work closely with our colleagues across all regions, and HR to develop and design solutions in line with the CRO strategy. In the near future, the key projects for our team are to support the development of learning resources for the CRO Skills Framework, the design and delivery of the CRO Learning at Work Week, the CRO New Joiner Programme and the CRO Global Diversity and Inclusion programme.
The CRO T&D team is small team with a truly global remit. This role involves engagement with multiple stakeholders and a wide variety of different projects.

Your key responsibilities
  • Co-ordinate the development and administration of the CRO Skills Framework learning resources. In particular, advise SMEs on how to develop their curriculum and engagement resources.
  • Support the administration of the CRO Learning at Work Week Programme. This will involve working with stakeholders across CRO and the bank.
  • Develop and maintain the CRO New Joiner Programme processes. Develop and maintain resources, with regards to learning needs and training and development solutions.
  • Provide support to the CRO Global Diversity and Inclusion Programme, such as the execution of a communications plan. There is the opportunity to deliver key programme sessions to a local audience, if desired.
  • Source, analyse and report available data (e.g. surveys, learning reports, course usage data etc.)
  • Development and delivery of CRO communications.

As a newly created team, the majority of our work will be associated with the design and development of T&D resources, and new processes for CRO. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop your L&D skills
Your skills and experience
  • Willingness to learn about new systems, processes and software
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a view to designing and updating learning resources, the intranet and regular CRO communications
  • Excellent project management skills, working across multiple programmes with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management skills, with a view to helping our colleagues design and deliver training solutions
  • Ability to work independently and research topics, with the appropriate level of support

An interest in improving or developing presentation and facilitation skills for L&D sessions
