Job Description


Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements more complex operating systems components, software tools, and utilities with full competency. Coordinates with users to determine requirements. Reviews systems under development and related documentation. Makes more complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations, and maintains program libraries and technical documentation. May coordinate activities of the project team and assist in monitoring project schedules and costs.

Technical Experience:

  • SQL Server 2014, 2017, 2019

  • SQL Azure andPowerShell,IaaS,PaaS,SaaS

  • Visual Studio 2017-2019, Azure DevOps in an Agile environment


  • Experience inAgile Methodologies/Scrum,Test Driven Development (TDD)&Unit Testing.

Experience

  • Goodhands-on experience on SQL Server 2014, 2017,

  • Strong experience in c#,ASP. Net/.NET Core, OOPS,


  • GoodHands-on experience on Angular/React JS

  • Hands on experience in performance tuning of queries,SPetc.

  • Expertise in deadlock solving scenarios

  • Expertise in High availability, sustainability and security.

  • Experience in solving deployment issues and helping the team to unblock them


  • Assisting in production deployment release cycle

  • Hands on experience inPowerShell is added advantage

  • Goodproblem-solving skills

  • Experience in Azure SQL, containers

  • Ability to write queries andfine tune the queries


  • Good team player and able to mentor juniors

  • Understanding of and experience with an agile SDLC

  • Experience in product release cycle, best practices, code reviews and defect management. Efficient in handling changes and enhancements.

  • Strong knowledge of multi-threading and application clustering, scalability, performance, application security, code analysis and optimization.

  • Good database concepts and hands on in design and development.


  • Ensure best design practices and processes are followed for continuous improvement of product.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work with Architect to define the design of the product

  • Conduct Code Reviews, analyze issues identified by Static analysis tools


  • Collaborate with DevOps team for troubleshootingdeployment issues, if any

  • Contribute to necessary Architecture documentation, participate in gate review to include Infrastructure, security and performance.

  • Ensure that deliverables are self-certified prior to transitioning to the downstream consumers of the deliverable (QA and customers).

Good to Have Skills

  • Develop and deploy application to Azure using Azure DevOps and Azure PaaS,


  • Hands on experience on tablepartitioning, archiving of objects
