Role Responsibilities

This role in CCIB DATA Technology within CCIB T&I is for the position of Hadoop.

Core Technical Skills Required

  • Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.

  • Involved in delivering IT Infrastructure projects OnPrem and Cloud environments.

  • A must to have handled Cloud based hosting of apps (AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • DevOps suite of technologies (Terraform,Helm Charts,JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Ansible, Artifactory, SonarQube, JFrog, AppScan).

  • Handled projects involving IT inventory, planning, procurement, maintenance and monitoring.

  • Good understanding and involvement of Cloud computing technologies and solutions delivered on Cloud platforms.

  • Thorough understanding of security principles, coordinating tasks in security reviews, resolution of security vulnerabilities, working with security assessment providers and periodic management of security aspects of platform.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops reviewing intranet/external publications establishing personal networks benchmarking state-of-the-art practices participating in professional working groups.

  • Unix and Windows: Hands on UNIX/WSH shell scripting.

  • Web & Application Servers: Hands on Web & Application Servers Handled projects both in waterfall and agile model.

  • Provisioning: Containerization(docker/podman), Orchestration(K8S,EKS/AKS),Multiple versions and cycles for various environments, Infrastructure Vulnerabilities and remediation.

  • Performance & Monitoring: Alerts and thresholds setup, alerts handling, Performance bottlenecks identification in Infra layer.

  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.

  • Provides periodic status reports to project working groups.

  • Partner with external vendors to implement product in-house.

  • Orchestrate data distribution within the bank&rsquos technology suite of applications.

  • Design optimum infrastructure utilization & infra optimization, focusing on cloud tech/adoption.

  • Clear communicator who understands the product, its data to drive the right solution-ing for data distribution.



Our Ideal Candidate

Core Technical Skills Required

  • Strong BA experience in BFSI industry.

  • More than 8 years of work experience in Banking industry preferably CIB domain.

  • Have experience in SQL.

  • Able to mine and understand the data to understand business patterns and scenarios.

  • Good Analytical Skill.

  • Commanding Communication skills.

  • Flexible to travel.

  • Adaptive to the aggressive timelines delivery mode.


Preferred Competencies

  • Experience remediating application vulnerabilities and delivering on other non-functional requirements.

  • Training/qualifications and Certifications in some of the functional and/or technical domains as mentioned will be an added advantage.

  • ITIL certification is a plus.

  • Banking/Financial services IT Infrastructure Projects delivery an added advantage.



Non-Technical Skills Required

  • Good analytical skills.

  • Able to work independently.

  • Curious to deep dive into Business process.

  • Good communication skills to be able to understand requirements and articulate solutions/feedbacks.
