Job Description

Key Account Manager maintains the relationship at CxO level within identified Key Accounts. They develop and implement customer centric business strategies to expand the CommScope product portfolio, positioning CommScope as a strategic technical partner.
Accountable for driving a focused effort, identifying customer technical requirements, communicating solutions, and closing opportunities. Coordinating across global regions, working with local CommScope Sales and Technical teams. Will also lead short and long-term strategy and grow revenue by identifying new opportunities, and understanding additional revenue streams.Responsibilities and expectations include:
  • Engage at CxO level within the Key Accounts (regional and HQ) and coordinate executive level alignment between the companies.
  • Ensures that appropriate internal resources are engaged and close sales opportunities. In alignment with the key account strategic account plans, formulates, develops and implements business and sales action plans at the tactical level to achieve financial goals for the assigned geographic or account team.
  • Collaborate to maintain critical communication with all CommScope resources who are stake holders with assigned Strategic Accounts.
  • Maintain, grow, and strengthen CommScope's relationship and position within Strategic Accounts with and through, CommScope account teams and partners
  • Identify short/long term product development goals and drive appropriate segment/product lines.
  • Coordinate Exec level alignment internally, coordinate Sales Managers and collaborate with Field Sales responsible for the account.
  • Achieve Trusted Adviser Status, securing Approved Supplier status.
  • Identify customer problems and drive them within the business to position CommScope solutions through to product approval status
  • Coordinate consistent global or regional messaging, and engagement strategies for Key Assigned Account.
Our Ideal Candidate
  • Comes with proven track record in leading multi-million dollar customer account.
  • Preferably with minimum of 10 years experience in Sales or Strategic Account Management experience within IT infrastructure products or services space.
  • Strong communication, organization and presentation skills.
  • Domestic and Global Travel will be required (40-50%)
