Job Summary
Service /Operations Manager build and maintain a strong service or operations team capable of delivering an excellent customer services to all our colleagues. You take overall responsibility for incident management request fulfilment systems monitoring service introduction customer/stakeholder engagement and act as further escalation point in the system. You are driven by data and analytics to ensure service delivery improvements/automation across the team you manage.
In this job I
Take end to end responsibility for running day to day management of service /operations team and to ensure they deliver excellent customer service
Support incident resolution process and focus on problem resolution priorities seeking to minimise incidents
Demonstrate high level of ownership and provide support for significant/major incidents
Set smart objectives and manage the staff for consultation on performance evaluations promotions hiring and disciplinary responsibilities
Excel at developing people and build an atmosphere that is fun innovative and is a catalyst for learning and development
Coordinate training requirements of the team
Provide leadership by projecting a positive attitude and being a role model for personnel development
Work closely with support teams/partners to improve resolution times where applicable
Use variety of data to continuously improve the way team serve customers better
Ensure that effective representation takes place for the coordination of processes and projects with other departments
Perform duties in a cost-effective manner to avoid waste of resources without compromising on the quality of service
Remain abreast of technology advances and look at opportunities to improve customer experience
Manage resource and stakeholder expectations across multiple high priority initiatives
Successfully perform planning directing reporting and other administrative responsibilities
Co-relate risks and issues for various systems within the support boundaries
Maintain competency and enhance professional growth and development through continuous education and training
Skills relevant for the job Expert knowledge (must have):
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent presentation and MS Excel skills
- Analytically strong
- Thorough grounding in the skills required to lead motivate and manage a support function
- Good understanding of various Oracle HCM cloud modules viz. Core HR Absence Payroll and Compensation modules and at operation level of proficiency in atleast two of the modules
- Experience in managing the support activities related to above mentioned modules
- Experience in managing a team of 8-10 members Qualifications
