  • The Java support engineer should come from service support background, preferably from FinTech
  • Should aspire to continue doing support in the longer term and be flexible to learn the domain and tech stack over and above Java to build broad support skill-set.
  • Experience working with Java
  • Hands on both relational (Oracle) and non-relational databases( MongoDB).
  • Hands on back-end programming languages (Java 8, .NET, JavaScript etc.) and appropriate frameworks (e.g. Angular, Spring, Struts, Hibernate)
  • Demonstrated experience of working with REST APIs using JSON
  • Comfortable using remote terminals
  • Experience in support management processes( Incident, Problem, Change management etc.)
  • Experience of using Jira and Incident management tools.
  • Knowledge of versioning tools such as Clearcase, SVN, Git and Understanding and implementation of security and data protection.
  • Experience with troubleshooting and debugging of issues on front and backend of application/product.
  • Hands-on skills on JBoss, Weblogic, Websphere based development and deployment
  • Good aptitude and communication skills
  • Domain: BFSI

  • Familiarity with DevOps principles and supporting technologies (i.e. CI/CD, Docker) is a bonus
  • Hands-on knowledge on Jenkins, CICD (Continuous integration continuous deployment), TDD (Test driven development), Automated code review tools like Sonar etc
