Job Description



The position is to fulfil a need within the Global Information warehouse (GIW) AML Team. The candidate would be responsible for working with business, technology and operational partners to understand requirements and translate these into functional solutions.
The ideal candidate should be technically astute, well organized, proactive and be comfortable discussing issues with business and technical users at all levels. He/she requires exceptional communication skills across both technology and the business and will have a high degree of visibility.
The candidate must have strong motivation to lead and be successful in their endeavours, great teamwork and team building skills, mentor junior resources and have sound character and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will be dependable and resourceful software professional who can comfortably work in a large development team in a globally distributed, dynamic work environment that fosters diversity, teamwork and collaboration. The ability to work in high pressured environment is essential.
Knowledge/Experience:
  • Data Warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies knowledge and experience required.
  • Cross-functional IT experience in application development and interface design is essential.
  • Must have sound operatingknowhow of databases Oracle (preferable) and Unix
  • Financial Markets Background, preferably in relation to Accounts and customer management in Banking
  • Experience in managing communications across business and technology stakeholders at varying levels across a medium to large scale enterprise
    Skills:
  • Background in data modeling, data management and data governance disciplines The candidate should be proficient with Oracle PL/SQL, Stored Procedures and Unix
  • Non-technical knowledge, experience, and skills (leadership, management, oral, and written communication)
  • Excellent planning, organization and prioritization skills to meet ever changing demands of delivery stream
  • The candidate will apply internal standards for re-use, architecture, SCM, testing and general best practices
    Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (in Science, Computers, Information Technology or Engineering)
  • At least 8 years overall IT experience with 5+ years in a BA role with experience on large & complex projects
