Purpose of the job
The Business Functional Analyst is part of the Agile squad. You will be meeting with various stakeholders to identify and discuss key business areas and processes that require improvement. Subsequent duties include analysing existing processes, interviewing staff, gathering data, and creating new business strategies in line with client expectations. To ensure success as a business functional analyst, you should have detailed knowledge of business workflows, excellent communication skills, and a highly adaptable approach. Ultimately, a top-class functional analyst is able to identify and develop process strategies that meet and exceed client expectations.
The business functional analyst works together with the Product Owner to ensure that the inputs into the backlog is continuously assessed and prioritised. He / She is responsible for the successful rollout and implementation of business process initiatives and the communication and measurement of benefits achieved. The Business Functional Analyst involves in all the Scrum ceremonies and supports the Agile delivery framework

Your key responsibilities:
* Meeting with clients / internal clients to discuss areas of focus and improvement within the business.
* Documenting processes, gathering and processing data to identify process improvement areas.
* Designing workflow and process strategies to improve business performance.
* Identify issues and risks
* Evaluating dependences, interfaces and specifying inputs and formatting outputs to meet the business responsible for defining Non-Functional Requirements.
* Facilitate communication at cross-team level in order to create consensus on scope, design decisions, and implementation decisions.
* Works in a collaborative and agile manner to document user stories and refine (e.g. add Acceptance Criteria) and liaise with development teams to prioritise and deliver against the requirements
* Manage the rollout and implementation of revised business processes and workflows.
* Coordinate demos and UAT Testing to validate user requirements and verify solutions respectively. As part of UAT, you will be key actor in test case and data preparation and training of testers.
* Responsible for change management, which includes preparation and delivery of training and communication materials.
* Monitoring and measuring the efficacy of updated workflows.
* Staying up to date with the latest business practices and technologies
Your skills and experience:
* Extensive experience in Financial Industry (Private banking/Wealth Management is desirable) over 12 years with significant contribution as Senior Business Analyst.
* University / Master's degree or equivalent, preferably in Finance, information technology or Business
* Experience in a Wealth Management domain and/or related support functions including understanding of products and business processes
* Experience in business analysis, data analytics, SQL knowledge
* Broad knowledge and awareness of (related) business solutions in the marketplace
* Self-motivated and flexibility to work autonomously coupled with ability to work in virtual teams and matrix/global organisations including appreciation of different cultures during collaborating and sharing.
* Ability to influence and motivate other team members and stakeholders through strong dialogue, facilitation and persuasiveness.
* Good knowledge of business analysis methods and tools (agile, waterfall, Jira, Confluence, MS Office)
* Experience of agile (scrum) methodology
