- Ability to work independently with an understanding of the finance industry & financial products:
- Knowledge of broker/dealer operations concepts such as Stock Record, DTC, Seg. and Trade Lifecycle highly preferred
- Comfortable communicating effectively with colleagues in the Front Office, Middle Office, and external counterparts & clients.
- Essential Skills / Aptitude: Planning & Organizational skills
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office - Strong MS Excel skills - Ability to research and understand financial concepts.

Your team
Team responsible for owning the day-to-day International settlement processes for all Equities in Latin America, Corporate Bonds in Clearstream as well as acts as custodian for US Prime Brokerage clients trading outside of the US market. Team manages daily settlement transactions across multiple UBS entities transacting in global markets, which includes pre-matching, management of securities inventory, as well as any trade fails and exception management associated with these activities. Team also responsible for monitoring and managing third party vendors performance in line with SLA expectations. Team interacts with many operations groups globally in our goal of providing an industry leading level of client service to external clients and internal stakeholders, supporting stakeholders and developing valuable internal & external relationships with employees of varying seniority.

- strong product knowledge including rollout and integration, accompanied with a strong lean mentality
- a proven risk assessment and management skill set, fostering a zero tolerance policy for poor integrity and risk taking

- a strong front-to-back ownership mentality
- multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize amidst competing / conflicting priorities
- excellent analytical/problem solving skills and a sense of urgency regarding responsibilities

- able to take ownership of the design and operating effectiveness of key controls and processes
- on top of industry and market driven initiatives to understand risks and impacts
- a good partner, collaborating across functions to deliver strategic projects and change
- responsible and accountable for delivery of key objectives within your immediate team and the broader Middle Office function
