Job Description

Design, implement, manage, support large diverse Application infrastructures. Including both on premise and cloud-based applications.
  • Work, closely with Application teams to understand project delivery expectations
  • Architect, configure, test, implement, document, and maintain application environments
  • Support application team deployments, updates, changes to environments
  • Help develop / Support Disaster Recovery for applications
  • Perform day to day administration responsibilities along with improving the efficiency of the current setup by bringing in more automation
  • Provides for and/or participates in user training of various functional organizations as required

Skill Requirements:
  • 5-7 years experience running applications on Linux systems, additional experience with Windows is a plus
  • Practical experience with:
  • Apache HTTP, Tomcat
  • WebLogic
  • Java
  • FTP, SFTP, Windows file shares and general Windows security
  • Windows Administration
  • Linux administration
  • Search application
  • Must have strong application and environment troubleshooting skills
  • Strong networking troubleshooting skills. Understanding of DNS, routing, etc.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural, team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to self-direct tasks and manage time
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing
  • Must have strong troubleshooting skills
  • Well versed on the maintenance and support of applications in an Enterprise Environment
  • Preferred but not required
    • Experience with Oracle Web Center Content (WCC) Application / administration
    • Familiarity with MS SQL DB
    • Familiarity with Oracle DB
    • Mulesoft / Anypoint platform management
    • Working knowledge with using BASH, WLST and Python scripting
    • Working knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment using Jenkins, REST APIs, Azure DevOps

  • Bachelor's Tech in Computer Science or IT / BCA / MCA
  • 3rd Shift (US Hours) required
