Job Description:
Under the direction of the manager, the role of the business analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks associated with compliance and risk management. This team is presently servicing Life and Annuity business for the PANO2 Brighthouse block.
Functional Responsibilities: Assists senior team members in the completion of all audit, regulatory, and industry examination requests from the client as well as internal DXC audits and examination requests received from regulatory bodies. Additional project management support will be required for all new laws, regulations, governance items and manual mailings as identified by Compliance. Performs routine review of team mailboxes and responds to requests/issues identified by processing teams. Continuously develops and revises documentation in relation to team and individual functions.
Under minimal supervision this position requires an individual that is self-starting, has an eagerness to learn, and the ability to function as a resource in multiple areas critical to the success of the Compliance and Risk Management organization. Work may be performed independently or jointly with team members and subject matter experts. Experience with privacy, risk, anti-money laundering, and fraud prevention is strongly desired. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively to a variety of business partners and stakeholders is also strongly desired. Solid organizational skills are a plus. Must work effectively with others and have a desire to succeed in a virtual team atmosphere.
Requirements:
Experience with internal DXC processing systems (1 year preferred).
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office (emphasis on Microsoft Excel).
Must have the skills necessary to submit query requests, quantify or reconcile system data in relation to Life and Annuity contracts.
Ability to write clear instructions and develop procedural documentation.
Project management experience or proven history of supporting projects.
