Position Overview

The Reference Data Analytics team supports the Operations Ref Data services for analytics related functions. You will lead the data analytics team and will be the interface between senior stakeholders and statistical modellers and will provide modelling and data requirements to analytical teams. You will have the responsibility to present the analytics book of work for prioritization and to project manage the initiatives, work with stakeholders to build pipeline and present updates in steering / Operations committees. You will be part of the team that specializes in providing solutions to complex data problems of the division and help extract business intelligence from the data. Your key responsibilities
. Lead the team of data scientists and data engineers in Bangalore to support the global ops team in solving data related problems
. Manage build out of Data Analytics solutions, architecting solutions to build automation of manual tasks using analytical tools like Big Data, Alteryx, Tableau and Python (as applicable)
. Leading the model definition process and serving as a project manager cum business analyst to collect and analyze data for use in our analytical models
. Manage project backlog in JIRA and enable efficient project management
. Soliciting feedback from stakeholders throughout the development cycle
. Presenting visualizations to stakeholders and senior management
. Ensuring closure of milestones tagged against key deliverables
. Work closely with internal clients to build pipeline of delivery
. Participate in Steering/Operations Committees for discussions & to provide updates
Your skills and experience
Provide a maximum of 5 bullet points detailing relevant, essential qualifications/skills/experience/qualities
. Atleast 6 years of relevant experience with building and project managing analytics solutions for Data Analytics related projects. Overall experience 10+ years with relevant experience in financial operations data analytics roles (preferred)
. Exposure to Data Analytics requirements, SQL, Big Data exposure, tools like Tableau, Alteryx and (or) Python is a must.
. Experience with JIRA and other project management tools. Ability to create JIRA dashboards and run sprints
. Ability to translate business requirements to technical requirements and elaborate to data analysts. Experience in creating business requirement document, solution design document etc.
. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management skills
. Experience with running Steering Committee calls with senior management and help in prioritization
. Strong excel skills to create reports etc. and understanding of basic statistical and data mining approaches and terms
. Leading project planning sessions
. Managing project progress and adapt work as required
. Ensuring projects meet deadlines
. Overseeing project documentation and updates
. Conducting project review and creating detailed reports for executive staff
. Optimizing and improving processes and the overall approach where necessary
