Position Overview

Role Description
The Risk and Control Team ensures the Bank's control priorities are effectively implemented across the Corporate Investment Banking (CIB) Technology application platform. The team offers dedicated support for each Chief Information Officer (CIO) business line, advisory services for control responses, and program management services for broad control uplifts. You will support the Risk and Control Function build out for the Corporate Bank Technology. Risk and Control lead will be responsible for the oversight of the technology risk portfolio within the domains tribe's, amongst various Information Technology, Information Security components.
The team's mission is to reduce the organization's technology risk exposure by implementing key bank
controls, ensuring appropriate and timely resolution of audit issues, and participating in the Bank's design of control implementations therefore, your role is integral in supporting the front-line management in
identifying, assessing/measuring risks, identifying remediation actions, and monitoring risks.
You will need to understand the risks associated with the Corporate Bank Technology Platforms, ongoing/existing risks & control related programs, and manage the resolution of these risks as appropriate. For TDI, the overall reduction of its risk exposure is a key goal in 2021.

Your key responsibilities
  • Responsible for managing a portfolio within Corporate bank Technology for Risk and Control programs including audit management and regulatory findings.
  • Creating self-identified findings and ensuring it is tracked through resolution.
  • Work with application teams during regulatory exams.
  • Support on internal audits and liase with senior managers.
  • Program lead for Software development Life Cycle across CBIB and CTO.
  • Ensures risk remediation programs are initiated and executed in line with Deutsche Bank
  • Risk and Program standards.
  • Ensures appropriate senior management awareness/oversight of follow-up on action items to resolve identified technology issues.
  • Able to liaise with senior management and regulators on reporting of project milestones, key deliverables, and credibility to obtain key stakeholder sign offs.
  • Responsible for prioritization and grooming of the risk backlog.
  • Responsible for escalations to senior management.
  • Reporting overall status to the Tribe Technology Lead.

Your skills and experience
  • Relevant experience in Technology risk management, risk advisory and audit management.
  • Engineering experience with atleast 5 years of Development experience.
  • Risk program implementation experience or leading transformation programs experience.
  • A technical background (application development, infrastructure engineering etc.) is also very

  • Understanding and/or experience with the GFMS process.
  • Understanding and/or experience in Information Security Concepts and Risks.
  • Educated to Bachelor's degree level or equivalent qualification/work experience.
  • Knowledge of JIRA and Tableau.
