Key AccountabilitiesAchievement of Business Objectives: Numbers, NAV and FD Ensure budgets w.r.t. NAV, Numbers and FD of the AREA HEADs are achieved Monitoring of business at branch level (where budgets have been allocated) Ensure business objectives of AREA HEADs are met as per monthly benchmarks/budgets set Monitoring activation and value build up in the accounts acquiredScoping of the market segments Scoping of the market for different segments in the region assigned along with the AREA HEADs for acquiring new ISA and TD accounts Ensure that the AREA HEADs and Sales Officers understand their business segments and their needs and provide customized solutions to fulfill all their immediate and long term requirements Take product help for customization of ISA/ICA product to suit the requirements of identified markets/segments Take assistance of seniors in Product or Branch Banking for cracking dealsMonitor Balance build ups Monitor balance build in accounts on regular basis. Ensure that the accounts build balances by cross selling other products offering and other services like Fee collection , payment gateway, Kiosks, ME, CMS etc Track the inactive accounts and ensure the AREA HEADs get in touch with the institutions for activating the accounts.Customer and Branch Visits Regular visits to prospective customers with AREA HEADs Periodical visits to regions/locations, branches and stakeholders for joint collaboration for TASC business Prepare customer and AREA HEAD level plans along with Branch Banking for seamless business acquisitionStaffing and Productivity Provide adequate training to the AREA HEADs and keep them updated on the documentation requirements for ISA Facilitate the AREA HEADs who are not able to reach the required financial objectives and drive and motivate them to achieve the targets Also monitor productivity of the Sales Officers.Branch Support Track low productive budgeted branches and facilitate them along with AREA HEADs to source ISA accounts Assist BMs and AREA HEADs to convert leads generated by them Support branches by preparing branch level action plan along with the AREA HEAD Ensure overall achievement of business objectives in budgeted branchesJoint meeting with Branch Banking Conduct regular weekly/monthly meetings with Cluster Heads/Zonal Heads and BBHs. Update them on the status of business at agreed intervals. Create plan and strategy for each branch/cluster along with the ZH and ensure that the same is implemented.Budgeting and Cost Reduction Prepare yearly budgets and work with fincon on finalization Ensure budgets are allocated and assigned to AH and branches as agreed with Branch Banking Ensure reduction in costs with regular cost reduction initiatives Work on reduction of Cost to Income by taking appropriate cost reduction and income enhancement actions Also monitor Cost to Income at AH level to ensure resource wise profitabilityCompetition and Market analysis Understand and evaluating the Market Size/Opportunity and Competition Business Strategies Review competition offering on a regular basis Update the channels on the overall market opportunity and competition offerings SkillsTeam Handling SkillsSales and Influencing SkillsBanking Product & Process KnowledgeRegulatory KnowledgePlanning and Organizing SkillsCommunicationKnowledge of Competition & Current trends in financial Industry.
