Job Purpose
We are looking to bring in a Governance person in the Enterprise Data Services team under Enterprise Operations and Technology, to help us provide Operational Governance around provisioning metrics around projects being delivered from India, Headcount reporting, help solving operational issues, represent EDS in related meetings. Person is also expected to work with the Pune Data Services lead to help with Central PMO asks and required reporting. The Candidate is required to possess relevant skills and experience in similar space and should be a strong team player. This is a significant opportunity for an experienced person with experience in Business Management, handling team and PMO tasks with ability to manage multiple tasks at hand. Person is expected to manage small team and work in collaboration with multiple development leads in India and highlight any issues being faced in daily operations. The candidate should have an inclination to automate manual tasks and take on new tasks in order to grow and excel. Exposure to Investment Banking space with exposure to working with multiple teams is preferred.
Job Background
To be successful in this role, you will need to have proven experience in managing multiple tasks, partnering with multiple teams to deliver and reporting any slippages to senior managers. You will require to have very good problem solving skills, communicate well, coordinating across different teams and stakeholders to drive your deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:
Workforce Management
  • Provide insights & commentary of current & Outlook workforce reporting (including Capacity Creation)
  • Supporting the build of the annual plan from a workforce perspective
  • Provide support and governance on the resource forecast
  • Provide commercial insights of Workforce against plan and tracking against Location and WF Strategy
  • Engagement with Leads on current resource position and then help drive the resource strategy implementation (location strategy, Diversity, Talent, Succession Planning, Insourcing, vendor analysis etc. to drive accountability
  • Manage vacancies / hiring plans based on locations / aging / affordability etc.
  • Manage onboarding of employees and consultants for India team

Strategy, Insights & Leadership Support
  • Provide support to Data Services team in the adherence of the day to day agenda, strategic and Adhoc assignments for Leadership Teams providing insights & recommendations
  • Produce and deliver the CSC/Global Weekly reports
  • Adhoc activity to support Executive level requests
  • Schedule meetings and sessions as required
  • Setting strategic priorities: Assisting the Leadership team to identify the areas where they must direct focus with regard to Talent, Engagement, Delivery and help in planning yearly goals and set of initiatives to achieve those.

Governance & Control
  • Support in delivering to the CSC ensuring compliance to the governance and control framework, including:
  • Manage governance calendar and cadence, including agendas, papers, reviews, meetings’
  • Delivery around the requirements for all Governance Forums
  • Produce management reports related to financials, workforce plan, vendor management, and risks for IT Leads to make strategic decisions
  • Cost center and organizational change management
  • Centrally assisting the vendor governance and management processes related to accruals, invoicing, issuance of POs, request approvals, etc.

Communication
  • Reviewing Internal and External Communications: Drafting newsletters, reports, pitch decks, speeches, or presentations.
  • Produce management reports related to financials, workforce plan, vendor management, and risks for IT Leads to make strategic decisions
  • Meeting preparation and follow up: Reviewing upcoming meetings for the week to ensure the Lead has all of the information needed to be as productive as possible and sending out agendas or documents to meeting attendees as necessary.

Qualifications:
  • 10+ Years of Strong experience in a Governance / Business Management function with an excellent understanding of working with leaders on a day-to-day basis.
  • 4+ Years preferably in Finance Industry
  • Experience in automating excel spreadsheets (preferred)
  • Ability to manage team and their career
  • Ability to work with geographically diverse and cross functional teams
  • Ability to report to senior stakeholders
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office applications especially MS Powerpoint & MS Excel
  • Established and evidenced leadership credentials; proven ability to maintain energy and resilience within an organization throughout a period of change and/or against significant challenges
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills a must.
  • Ability to balance multiple critical requests from various stakeholders and prioritize in the right order
  • Ability to drive and execute deliverables in short time frames and work with limited supervision and able to thrive in a challenging and ever changing environment
  • Ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal stakeholders across all levels and geographies of the organization.
  • Strong Communication skills across a variety of forums and mediums. Proven ability to distil information into key messages and deliver succinctly according to audience
  • Ability to develop business strategy, communicate in clear and confident manner, and act independently to implement, sometimes using creativity in approach
  • Candidate may require to work different time zones depending on project needs
