Job Title : Head of Communications - GFIT
Job Location : Pune
Shift : General (Need to be flexible)
IC role
The role is responsible for the development and implementation of employee communication and DevOps and Agile communications. The role will be responsible for change communications planning and delivery, creating great content to drive colleague awareness, engagement and alignment with organisational and function priorities. In this role you will also need to engage with colleagues in the wider function, programme and geographic network, including senior stakeholders and peers. This is an exciting industry and career defining change to be a part of as the company changes the way it does technology.
Impact on the Business/Function

  • Manage internal campaigns and news, including ensuring important business projects and information are communicated to employee audience groups
  • Create compelling content and messages using story-telling to engage global employees in the DevOps & Agile journey
  • Enable GFIT people managers with briefings and materials that inform and mobilise employees
  • Support and collaborate with the leadership team and other regional and country communications colleagues as required.
  • Support global teams in showcasing their impact and position them as thought leaders and catalysts for change and innovation across the wider Technology organisation.

Key Audience / Stakeholders
  • Engage employees in Group Functions IT by delivering change communication through appropriate programmes and channels and in alignment with the broader IT Transformation programme and communications strategy
  • Work collaboratively with Technology employee communications, DevOps and Agile communications, and the wider operational network to deliver results to ensure employee communications plans are aligned and delivered

Ownership & Teamwork
  • Develop strong relationships with key champions, advocates and colleagues to facilitate execution of communication plans
  • Ensure execution to world-class standards and share knowledge and best practice across the Communications network
  • Keep up-to-date with latest employee communications research, techniques and approaches, and network externally with peers
  • Support, coach and develop employee communications practitioners within Group Functions ITto deliver consistent and high quality communications in line with strategic goals

Operational Effectiveness & Control:
  • Track and measure the delivery and impact of the communications programmes
  • Meet and comply with Global Standards Manual, Communications Functional Instruction Manual, procedures and governance framework
  • Standardise employees communications processes for greater efficiency and consistency
  • Use internal channels effectively to encourage two-way dialogue across all stakeholders in GFIT and the business
