Job Description Summary
The FP&A Manager - Reporting & Analytics, will provide FP&A leadership to the America's region in the Digital Grid business. This role will lead and provide extensive analytics on business operational drivers, definition of metrics to improve measurement, and translation of metrics into strategic growth priorities. Reporting to the region CFO, this role will partner with Digital Grid finance organization, operating partners, and business leadership in building the narrative based on analytics. This role is crucial in decision support system to make decision recommendations using financial and operational data objectively. This role will help support Global FP&A in closing the books, in close collaboration with other finance team members to review and analyze Orders/Revenue/Cash.Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Establish reporting requirements for the operational teams to develop business narrative based on data, analytics, and metrics.
  • Develop financial models to measure operational performance and partner with the teams to implement FP&A best practices.
  • Develop Executive Reporting and Dashboard for periodical reporting on business performance, predict Contribution margin trend, and identify risks to operating profit goals.
  • Partner with operational teams to develop countermeasures that will mitigate risks.
  • Develop and sustain cash forecasting model to deliver predictable and reliable cash forecast that will match with actual outcome.
  • Define and improve processes around developing and improving cash and working capital metrics to deliver metrics driven cash forecasting and cash management.
  • Develop financial walks from orders through operating profit clearly explaining the business drivers and articulating the business growth narrative.
  • Partner with Global FP&A and Controllership teams to develop and implement Lean processes in Closing and Reporting.
  • Develop Annual operating plan and prepare for Strategic reviews with well-grounded business operational drivers.

Qualifications / Requirements
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial analysis & planning, or relevant finance functional management roles
  • Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
  • Problem solving, continuous improvement, and passionate to deliver results
  • Presentation expertise, excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex issues in concise manner
  • Experience in working with ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, and Hyperion) & business intelligence tools
  • Self-driven and demonstrate ownership
  • Commitment to flexible working hours to meet US based business partner as needed
  • Fluency in English

Required Qualifications
  • This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum 4 years of FP&A experience, 3 years of operational finance experience, and 2 years of commercial finance experience, totaling 9-10 years of core finance experience.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Proven project management experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated analytical and modeling capabilities
  • Comfortable working in matrixed and global environments
  • Experience with MS Access or SQL or IT Project Management in functional capacity
  • Lean experience
