Job Description Summary
The FP&A Analyst - Commercial Analytics, will be responsible for analysis related to orders, revenue, margin, price, and sales commissions. This role will need to interact with business partners and critically evaluate funnel to orders conversion and associated sales commissions.Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Prepare and/or enhance existing financial models to evaluate price in comparison with inflation
  • Calculate sales incentive compensation accrual and validate against orders/revenue performance to help optimize sales incentive program
  • Develop product margin analytics to help drive price gain and mitigate FX/inflation fluctuations
  • Develop and implement SaaS metrics related to orders/revenue
  • Document process, systems, and data flow related to essential responsibilities above and share it with Segments to save time and effort in validating transactions
  • Develop data-driven financial model to improve speed of reporting and predictability of Commercial Analytics forecast
  • Partner with Global FP&A, Segments FP&A, and Controllership teams to develop and implement Lean processes in Closing and Reporting
  • Partner with Global FP&A team to implement rolling forecast models across all the segments. Evaluate effectiveness of rolling forecast and define improvements to make them effective

  • Financial reporting & analysis expertise with ability to define narrative

  • Connecting the results/analysis to business, strategy, and process
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, BI, Hyperion, and Onestream

Required Qualifications
  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Finance & FP&A Operations. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).

  • Chartered Accountant
  • Minimum 4 years of Financial analysis experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
  • Proven project management experience, including coordinating multiple people / projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated analytical and modeling capabilities
  • Comfortable working in matrixed and global environments
  • Experience with MS Access, SQL, XML, or IT Project Management in functional capacity
  • Lean experience
