Key Stakeholders: Group FCC, FCC in Country, Regional FCC and internal stakeholders
PURPOSE:
The primary purpose of the Senior Manager of the Functional Support Team within FCSU is to do budget management, cost tracking and perform variance analysis between budget & cost. Plus manage and own all finance related dashboard and data that is required for performing the role
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Day to Day Management:
1. Lead a quality mindset including proactive steps. Reach out to internal & external stakeholders proactively for information
2. Ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner, tracked & monitored until resolution
3. Embed customer focus into our culture and services offered
4. Active participation in team meetings & huddles
5. Maintains sound documentation of all actions and is aware of what merits consultation with Senior Management
Budget Management:
1. Understand the business needs and prepare a budget as per business plans
2. Validate the requirements and prepare the budget plan & submit to finance team. Work closely with finance team and get the budget approved
3. Embed a mechanism to get the budget-related data and convert into meaningful data for function/business to understand
Cost Management
1. Basis approved the budget, responsible to track the actual cost against the budget projections
2. Perform variance analysis against all cost codes with budget figures
3. Prepare a deck for all functions on monthly basis and initiate business conversations so the cost is maintained within agreed budget
4. As we support multiple countries, responsible for handling all country-related queries as part of the day to day activities
5. Handle all internal and external stakeholders
6. Responsible for all day to day operational issues arise due to cost management

Technical:
1.Experience working in (Financial Planning and Analysis) FPNA role
2. Good understanding of banking products, related transactions, and their inherent ML risks with a special focus on at least one of the following customer segments: Retail, Private Banking or Corporates
3. Has an in-depth understanding of the audit review management processes and guides team members/colleagues on complex scenarios and decision making
4. Understands operational risks and controls
