Job Description

• Sending Arrival Notices to the customers.
• Tracking movement of import shipments
• Updating consignees with latest transit status of their import shipments on daily basis
• Responding to customers queries via emails & phones.
• Preparing Invoices for Import Shipments.
• Up selling various kind of services like ISF filling, custom clearance, Trucking (Door Delivery), etc.
• Customer interaction & trouble shooting.
• Coordinating with customs broker to clear customs of import shipments.
• Coordinating with trucker to schedule delivery of the shipments at consignee’s door
• Follow up with steamship line for POD, arrival notices, invoices, freight release.
• Disputing with line on issues whenever is needed.
• Verifying documents and making necessary corrections if required.
• Following up with Origin offices for documents, consignee’s contact details, disputes, etc.
• Following up with US offices for payment status, releases, customs status with customs team, etc.
• Handling key clients.
