ESTIMATION ENGINEER(E&I) CLIENT PREFERS CANDIDATES WITH SAUDI ARABIA EXPERIENCE

Qualification & Experience:
• Experience of working in estimation field in Construction, Power, petrochemical, industry, Oil &gas , EPC contractors etc.
• The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Instrumentation engineering.
• The candidate should have 5 - 7 years of relevant experience in a similar organization out of which 2- 3 years should be in a similar position
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Attend bid meetings and walk throughs at various client locations to determine scope of work, complexities, accessibility, and required content of estimates.
• Review instructions and proposal specifications, drawings, technical data, and welding processes necessary to estimate the work.
• Evaluates and review of bid documents, specifications, scope of works and drawings
• Submit queries for clarifications on the technical and commerical aspect of the proposals.
• Identify sub-contract / specialized work items.
• Generates estimated manhours and acquire competitive material and sub-contract prices.
• Prepares clarifications / qualifications to to the bid/proposal.
• Supply Material Take-off and drawing details necessary to be used as a basis for pricing a tender.
• Prepares preliminary schedule, manpower loading and equipment list for technical proposal.
• Prepares overall cost summary of the project for review by Proposals & Estimation Manager.
• Evaluates historical data of past projects, generate man-hoursand costing productivity factors to be applied on established standards rates, for use in future bids.
• Lead the preparation of reports related to the estimation activities and achievements
• Coordinate with departments and individual involved in the estimation process.
• Ensure that all working documents and data are preserved to back up estimates figures.
• Participate in presentations to corporate management and clients. May be responsible for closing down the sale and opportunity.
• Assist in the preparation of subcontract agreements.
• Prepare project uplift sheets, cost breakdowns and update regularly.
