The Team

The Marketing, Brand and Communications team is responsible for building Deloitte India's brand eminence, ensuring a consistent tone of voice, and managing the internal and external communication activities that support the firm's value proposition. The team is composed of brand guardians, public relations experts, event managers, graphic designers, video artists, digital mavericks, researchers, and copy writers.
The design team comprises in-house line-up of visualizers, high-end designers, audio-visual experts and animators with abundant industry experience and required skillset for high impact digital and print solutions.
Job responsibilities:
As a communications specialist in the team (and part of the Marketing, Brand and Communications function), you will plan and implement external and marketing communications campaigns for the organisation in general and specific to some of our business areas and industry practices.
You will support and assist the lead manager who also acts as a SPOC to the assigned business/industry practice (internal client) and will coordinate initiatives with specialised teams within Marketing, Brand and Communications and externally with the PR firm. The SPOC plays a key role in advising the internal client on marketing, brand and communication campaigns and other related initiatives.

  • Liaison with internal teams and external vendors as you execute the above activities

It is important that you adhere to and comply with all internal processes and quality standards.
You will report to a Director and head of the communications team.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English required, both verbal and written.
  • Social and have an ability to work well within a diverse team.
  • A collaborative team player that also has the ability to work independently, take initiative and set priorities.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and to work in demanding, deadline-driven situations.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to present to small/large groups, internally and externally
  • An aptitude and desire for learning and ongoing development.

Qualifications & Experience:
3 to 5 years of experience in corporate communications/ public relations.
Bachelor's degree or higher. Majors in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or a similar field will be a plus but is not necessary.
