Job family definition:Researches, designs, develops operates and maintains support services for existing and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements per standard company IT process methodology (such as ITIL and ITSM). Includes identification, development and prioritization of support services according to business criticality. Applications and information systems solutions include both 3rd party software and internally developed applications and infrastructure. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis of business requirements, configuration of 3rd party software implementation of infrastructure solutions, creation of documentation, testing and maintenance of applications, and support and maintenance of infrastructure and information systems. Works within the Information Technology function, obtaining resources and working in support of objectives and strategies. Participates in architecture reviews to ensure that solutions comply with standards and uses approved technologies. Typical customers are company end users and various functional areas such as Supply Chain, Research and Development, Marketing, Finance, a business, or the company.

Responsibilities

  • To analyze user and business requirements and design and implement appropriate solutions
  • To design and code programs following in-house standards and good design principles
  • Experience in Oracle Sales Performance Cloud (OSPC) and Oracle Sales Performance Manager (OSPM) technologies.
  • Experience with system development, plan, global and organize data configurations including sales compensation calculation rules
  • Experience in ERP integrations into OSPC/OSPM
  • Strong understanding of Agile / Iterative delivery methodology.
  • Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing and work closely with users for user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Analyze and mitigate bugs and issues, participate and design and code reviews
  • Experience in object-oriented concepts and SQL.
  • Good understanding of SOAP and REST web services.
  • Familiar with Relational Database and data modelling.
  • Familiar with version control and source code tracking tools such as Subversion and GitHub.
  • To arrange testing at unit level and as integrated systems
  • To ensure that all programs are documented to the company standards
  • To provide advice and guidance to other members of the team

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent experience and a minimum of 10 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Knowledge and Skills

  • At least 1 or 2 end to end implementations of Oracle Sales Performance Manager cloud services (OSPM) or equivalent experience using an industry standard sales planning application (e.g. Xactly, Callidus, etc.).
  • Build and maintain the systems, process and data that drives the sales incentive plans for a large sales organization
  • Partner with HR, Sales Operations, Sales and BI teams to setup accurate quotas, territory assignments and revenue crediting
  • Participate in the design/implementation process for system enhancements and complete user acceptance testing for calculation logic, data tables and reporting in the incentive compensation system and related CRM and revenue tools
  • Ensure the defined processes, controls and documentation is in accordance with SOX requirements
  • Execute the process to create/change, publish, and obtain sign-offs of the individual compensation plan documents and calculator tools aligned to business events throughout the year
  • Research and QA quota and payout inconsistencies for Sales Operations
  • Work with BI to resolve data or system issues
  • Develop and track metrics to assess the effectiveness of the sales incentive compensation program
  • Provide support for cross-functional compensation related inquiries and requests (e.g. payroll, accounting accruals, SOX support)
  • Experience in creation and maintenance of planning, and reporting cubes
  • Data warehousing knowledge is a plus
  • Ability to work with multiple projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Strong experience with Go-to-Market/Sales IT applications
  • Strong experience in scripting and / or programming language. Strong experience with implementation, problem analysis and solutioning of infrastructure and business application environments. Foundational or expert knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Web technologies. Exhibits a high level of initiative and integrity. Strong problem solving, priority setting, and collaboration skills. Good organizational and analytical skills.
