General Overview
This position supports the Information Technology Delivery team, responsible for developing and support the applications at Rotary International. You will have the opportunity to work on diversified applications developed for Rotary International in niche technologies. Your contribution will serve assisting Rotary members through its Software for expanding our reach and enhancing participant engagement.
You Will Have
  • BE / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science) with minimum 5+ yrs. of relevant professional experience in the technology
  • Sound Knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server
  • Technical Skills - WEBI - BO XI 4.0, SAP BI Platform, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and above
  • Good verbal and written communication

You Are Good At
  • Help design and maintain SQL Server corporate databases and data warehouses, as well as data cubes from other MS server products such as SharePoint, Project Server and People-Soft.
  • Design, Develop and verify BI/BO packages
  • Design of SSRS reports
  • Knowledge on analytical models and data cubes.
  • Cloud database knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Actively participate in user demos whenever required.
  • Translate technical information to non­technical people.
  • Coordinate with others on shared projects.
  • Knowledge on BI administration.

You Will Be Responsible For
Attention to Details -
  • Has in-depth knowledge in own discipline and basic knowledge of related technology
  • Interprets internal or external issues and recommends solutions/best practices
  • Provide an approach to mitigate technical risks during development execution
  • Work independently and receive minimal guidance

Technical and Professional Expertise -
  • Make sure that ideal code repository structure is maintained for various technologies.
  • Guide the team in functional and technical areas on various work products
  • Maintain coding standards related to technology. Make sure these are getting followed by the team members
  • Solve unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business
  • Support critical production/ pre-production issues
  • Work on application performance issues, account it in technical debt and fix such issues
  • Maintain system documentation, such as data models and software architecture on periodic basis
  • Facilitate/Manage/Lead/Support Production deliveries
  • Make sure end to end development processes are followed by team members and quality is maintained across the applications
  • Assure that pre-production and production environments are stable and usable after deployments

Initiative -
  • Work on approach or design of a system for enhancements and provide required guidance to team during development
  • Participate in technical meetings and provide suggestions/solutions/ approaches on any topic discussed
  • Should be flexible and available for testing, verifying and fixing of bugs for respective product applications
  • Guide and mentor in installing software and setup workstations in its own area
