Designation: IT Helpdesk
Experience: 1 to 3 yrs
Qualification: Any Graduate
CTC: As per Industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
Works with Help Desk and NetworkOperations staff as appropriate to determine and resolve problems received fromclients.
Interact with numerous computerplatforms in a multi-layered client server environment.
Ensure desktop computersinterconnect seamlessly with diverse systems including associated validationsystems, file servers, email servers, computer conferencing systems,application servers, and administrative systems..
Works with procurement staff topurchase hardware and software.
Assesses functional needs todetermine specifications for purchases.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents(Hardware and Software) related to desktop and associated peripherals
Troubleshoot Network connectivity(LAN) issues
Installation of desktop andhardware like CD-ROM, soundcards, etc
Co-ordinate with vendors forsupport
Configuration of devices attachedto laptops ( PDA)
Application support, Desk side forbusiness applications
Should provide Remote support onPhone or through tool
Requirements
1. Good Communication
2. Graduation ismandatory. Should be from regular. No correspondence education.Cut OffThroughout is 50%.
3. Minimum of 2 yrs ofexperience as a Desktop Support.
