Purpose of the Job:
  • To facilitate end to end reporting requirement for Group Business within specified TAT and with quality output.
  • To revisit processes and implement necessary improvements,
  • To facilitate automation of reports and MIS
  • To provide resolutions/clarifications for queries/requests/complaints to internal and external customers.
  • To proactively work towards initiatives targeted for reducing repeated queries, FRs and overall pendency for NB &PS requirements.
  • To provide clear requirements to IT in order to extract requisite data as per requirement from Management and Regulator
  • To ensure reporting is in line with the regulatory requirements
  • To maintain accurate data repository for future reference.
  • Monitor and analyze crucial reports - Train and develop the team members in terms of processes, function, quality standards product and systems.
  • Update the team members about various inputs, new developments.
  • Need to drive and actively participate in key business initiatives within the team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribution to Business Results:
  • Overall increase in Group Operations quality levels attained
  • Streamline all the Group Operations Reports and maintain a data repository
  • Developmental Inputs to team members towards their transition into highly trained, productive and knowledgeable operations officers. Monitor Individual Productivity and performance of the team of self & team members on all related areas

Process:
  • Adherence to all laid out process rules and laid down controls.
  • Achieve desired quality sigma levels in processing at all stages & activities of Group New Business and Policy servicing
  • To exercise daily controls over all critical activities being conducted
  • Ensure proper cascade & implementation of all initiatives & new processes aimed at betterment of the function
  • Develop product, process and system knowledge.


Reporting and Testing:
  • Understand the reporting requirements and generate requisite reports for Management and Regulatory requirement as per committed timelines and quality.
  • Ensure quality output and recognize all touch points of reconciliation
  • Excellent knowledge of Group specific Systems and Group specific MIS, tracking tools as well as sound accounting knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills and out of the box thinking
  • Excellent at follow ups, closure of open loops and highly self driven Customer Relationship & Service
  • Committed TATs are met consistently
  • Development of customer sensitivity among team members by regular monitoring, feedback, inputs & training mechanism.
  • Manage & Maintain cordial relationships with external and internal sales staff.
  • Ensuring proper complaints management by team and taking steps towards making it more effective to the satisfaction of the customer & Company.
  • Overall personality development including attitude, grooming, communication skills, leadership qualities, interpersonal relationships and sensitivity towards customers


Policy Servicing
  • Ensuring the Sigma Quality and TAT of all Policy servicing transactions.
  • Regulatory compliances for all Policy Servicing communication to clients
  • Close coordination with Sales for reduction & resolution of complaint cases, if any.
  • Proper cascade & Implementation of all Policy Servicing processes to all concerned.
  • System evaluation for any process changes.
  • MIS and reporting

  • Ensure that the principle of integrity is not compromised in any way during discharge of daily functions at workplace.
  • Maintain the necessary decorum and attitude that is required of a representative of the operations team.
  • Ensure civility and professionalism in dealing with other functions. - Actions to be focused towards building and sustaining relationships with all - External and internal customers. - Respect & empathy for peers & colleagues.


Compliance

  • Compliance to all laid out processes of the function. This will be directly correlated to performance in audit.
  • Ensure that TAT is maintained for all activities as per guidelines from the IRDA, or the internal TATS set by the function.
  • To assist in internal audit and ensure actionable within the function.
  • Ensure adherence to automated reconciliation process at branch.
  • IRDA reporting.


Desired Candidate Profile Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: -
  • Good in Excel, Mail writing.
  • Excellent Interpersonal skills to manage the vendor.
  • Negotiation skills
  • Management
  • Effective communication.
  • Good leadership skills, good in planning and execution.-
  • Should have at least at least 4 years experience of Insurance operations Knowledge of Group Business product and systems.
