Job Description



Brief Description:
The manager is responsible for effective operational management and delivery of the India back- office operations, recruitment, people management and by creating a suitable environment for people to deliver excellent and seamless service to the clients.
Job responsibilities:
Ensure quality service for existing clients by proactively identifying potential problems/solutions and producing timely and accurate work products
Ensures all work product is reviewed according to Milliman's peer review guidelines
Maintain healthy group dynamics
Facilitate problem solving and collaboration
Work in extended schedules/flexible to adopt changes and handhold others.
Monitor team performance and reports
Assure that the team members have the necessary education and training to effectively participate in the team
Escalate issues which cannot be resolved by the team
Provide guidance to the team based on management direction
Coach and help develop team members help resolve dysfunctional behavior
Collect, reconcile and review participant data identifying and resolving issues as they arise
Work cooperatively with other team members to help get jobs done and to ensure unified delivery of services
Follow and update documentation materials as directed
Maintain complete and accurate work papers and audit trails
Serve as a contact with clients human resources personnel
Adhere to plan documents and government regulations in administering plans
Contribute to team discussions and training activities
Be accountable to team members for agreements and promises
Train and review the work of less experienced Benefits Analysts

Experience desired:
Graduate in any educational stream / discipline
5-6 years of experience in Defined Benefits, people and performance management responsibilities.
Understanding of the process
Analytical skills
Requirements/Qualification
Proficiency with respect to all computer systems used in the performance of daily tasks.
Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
Ability to work in a team environment and individually
High integrity and discretion to ensure the confidentiality of sensitive client data
