Job Description
Role: Windows Desktop Operations Support Engineer
Work as team member of Remote Desktop Support engineer and support Windows Laptop/ Workstations running Windows 7 & 10 for End User Computing Team.
Analytical/Decision-Making Responsibilities:
·Ability to identify potential points of failure, other than windows operating system.
·Ability to effectively communicate with other groups in IT Services.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements (Mandatory Technical Skills):
·Windows Desktop OS including Windows Operating System.
    • 7 and 10 OS

·Troubleshooting skills for performance and application on Windows operating system.
E.G. Identifying issues faced on windows machine due to MS Teams, MS Office, etc.
Identifying issues faced by the user related to browsers and their plugin on Windows operating systems.
Identifying issues related to DNS/ DHCP/ Antivirus/ wrong GPO policy on the machine running Windows operating
·Windows Desktop OS imaging, deployment (physical & remote).
·SCCM software distribution & deployment
Other Skills:
·Strong interpersonal, client service, communication skills.
·Ability to work under pressure and react appropriately in a crisis.
·Proficient in Service Now Incident and Change Management.
·The ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
Desired Experience
At least 5 years of experience in Windows desktop operating system support and laptop/ workstation build.
