Role Responsibilities

The Global Business Services (GBS), is looking to hire a Data Quality Analyst to join an exciting team that supports CCIB&rsquos Customer relationship management (CRM) solutions.

The Data Quality Analyst will support a portfolio of Customer Relationship Management applications, a mix of in-house developed and state-of-the-art cloud-based platforms serving our Frontline staff with an extensive set of Marketing, Sales, and Service capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
The individual in this role will need to work closely with business and technology teams to.

  • Support ad-hoc Data Quality issues raised by CCIB frontline staff and monitor CRM Data quality pro-actively.

  • Analyse data quality exceptions. Provide analysis into data quality inconsistencies and provide resolution in a timely manner.

  • Play a hands-on role in the on-going resolution of DQ issues.

  • Work closely and build relationships with upstream business functions to validate and identify DQ issues as close to source, as possible.

  • Conduct data analysis implementation and monitoring of DQ.

  • Work with various upstream teams to prioritise and remediate DQ issues at source.

  • Provide a support to frontline staff in resolving DQ issues.

  • Ensure ad-hoc data quality queries and analysis requests from Management get the right level of support and inputs.

  • Develop a functional comprehension of data sourced into CRM and the impact to CRM processes and capabilities.

  • Work towards continuous improvement to identify data quality issues and provide strategic support to decrease such issues in the future.

  • Report the DQ issues, resolutions, and insights to DQ Lead.

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group&rsquos Values and Code of Conduct.

Our Ideal Candidate

Desired Profile

  • Bachelor's / Master&rsquos Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other Technology field preferred.

  • Experience in Data Operations, Data Analysis, Metadata Management, or Business Intelligence.

  • Knowledge on Banking Customer Relationship Management.

  • 7+ Years of experience working in a banking environment, preferably in data governance and operations roles.

  • A track record of providing end-user support.

  • A good understanding and appreciation of data governance in a banking context.

  • Ideally knowledge of wholesale banking CRM capabilities, processes, roles and responsibilities.

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Data Analytics, and SQL.

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving experience.

  • Excellent written & oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently to tight deadlines.

  • Focused, organised and results-oriented.

  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

  • Ability to build effective working relationships across all levels of a diverse, global organisation.

  • Exceptional collaboration skills, strong team player.
