This role is for an experienced Database Administrator/Developer who is technically skilled in the full life cycle management of Databases for an organization. The role is not just limited to Administration, but the individual should be highly skilled in development activities too. Following are the expected skillsets towards the requirement.

The candidate must possess hand-on experience to define, design SQL database for mammoth (higher query defied RDMS) Front End Portals, applications. Good to have experiences in MS SQL, NoSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, DB2, Cosmos etc.
Essential Functions of the Job:

  • Develop a global strategy for EY's Modern Meeting program SQL [DBA]
    • Robust - the tables are logically designed and will scale as the solution grows.
    • Scalable - the candidate should be able to build out the platform to multiple (geo) locations and keep latency low and user experience high.
    • Provide guidance on data that needs to be replicated between SQL nodes. A design needs to be made that will show what needs to be replicated and what doesn't.
  • Provide metrics for monitoring SQL activity
    • Be able to provide training for engineers and ops to look at the metrics - using the tools available, we should be able to track performance and growth data. We need to proactive determine a course of action before it happens with the data we have.
  • Develop custom SQL code to support reporting capabilities such as 'SQL views' and PowerBI which is robust enough where the admin/requestor can pull data.
  • Provide day-to-day support on SQL until end of POC project [DBA]
  • Make sure documentation is available and current [DBA]
  • Develop disaster recovery plan [DBA]
  • Data syncing [DBA] - Create a process where the respective data is copied to MMS database and service now.

.Proactively anticipates service issues before they occur and able to make recommendations around resolution.
.Proactively monitor and manage Azure related components.
.Sound analytical and problem-solving skills are required to manage multiple technical challenges from multiple services and projects simultaneously
.Evaluate recommendations provided for service improvements, with the ability to identify any gaps or alternate solutions.
.Proactively anticipate service issues before they occur and drive suggested changes to execution.
Supervision Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
