About our Team
Operations BI team responsible for the support and enhancements in the Journals Data Warehouse (JDW), Books Data Warehouse (BDW).
About the Role
Responsible for data pipelines loading data for Books and Journals from various source systems into our Data Mesh.
.Working closely with product owners, database architects, data analysts and data scientists on new data initiatives.
.Operating in an agile working environment while collaborating with key stakeholders
.Assembling large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional requirements
.Writing and reviewing portions of detailed specifications for the development of data components of moderate complexity
.Collaborating with other engineering team members in understanding the data and translating requirements
.Ensuring high performance and maintainability of code
.Have substantial experience in data warehousing, ETL and SQL area
.Experience in supporting, developing, and enhancing data pipelines using AWS, Python and SQL
.Experience in release management using CI/CD.
.Agile development - use of Jira, Confluence continuous integration, continuous delivery
.Able to work in a team with people from all backgrounds
.Have analytical and problem-solving skills.
.Able to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization
