This role is based in the Counterparty Credit Risk Change team at a large European Bank.
Counterparty Credit Risk India is a part of group's Global Risk network, providing a range of support services to multiple divisions and functions across Risk and Finance Solutions, Group Finance, and key divisions of the bank globally. The team has a mix of qualified professionals, business analysts, process engineers, subject matter experts, and professional project managers who face off to multiple key business stakeholders and provide services mainly for the benefit of CCR business areas.
Manage Counterparty Credit Risk as an experienced Credit Risk Business Analyst to support complex changes required in the Counterparty Credit Risk systems related to OTC Derivatives / CVA, calculations around RWA, EAD and PFE.
The role is demanding as risk is a key area of focus for the bank at this time.
The candidate will be primarily working on large scale simplifications program with multiple stakeholders from key areas of the business such as Front Office Capital Management, Traded Credit Risk Management, Risk Capital and Risk Control Unit.
As a Counterparty Credit Risk Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
. Be responsible for understanding the business needs, identifying business solutions and validating the pros and cons of technical solution/options
. Define and document clear business requirements, functional specifications and testing strategies
. Provide significant input into the design and functionality of Credit Risk systems
. Communicate and explain the business needs and requirements to the development teams
. Work with the global development teams and users through the development lifecycle, including testing
. Plan and conduct impact analyses of functional changes on credit and capital measures
Must have
In order to be successful in this role, you must have the following skills & experience:
. Good understanding of Finance concepts and methodologies. Experience in data analysis and impact assessments.
. Good Understanding of Derivatives and exotic products understanding
. Good to have- Risk models - Monte Carlo Simulation etc
. Good to Have- Pricing of OTC derivatives across various asset classes
. Good to have - Stress testing
. Good to have- CVA, xVA, SIMM model
. Must have- Data mapping / migrations
. Good to Have- Capital calculations under Basel III / CRDIV
. Must Have- good knowledge in SQL and Excel
