Consumer Insights & Research Lead (L6)

Responsibilities
The Consumer Insights & Research Lead will lead all strategic primary, secondary and syndicated research for the Prime Video India Marketing Team. This role serves directly to our mission of being Earth's most customer-centric company by equipping the marketing team at Prime Video with rich data-driven insights. The role will require proven proficiency in market research and insight generation and wide project management experience with external agencies and internal stakeholders alike. Along with expertise in research, the role requires excellent analytical, communication ability and comfort with ambiguity that comes with a fast paced working environment.
- Work closely with Product, Marketing, Finance, Business Intelligence, Legal and Compliance teams, always making sure that the voice of the customer is heard in every discussion.
- Manage, execute and critically evaluate Brand Health tracks and their fit with Brand requirements
- Work closely with the Brand Team to help build a strong, locally relevant Prime Video Brand
- Work to identify and customer opportunity and demand for new Prime Video initiatives with simulated test studies
- Identify, design and execute deep-dives on critical customer cohorts, qualitatively and quantitatively (For e.g. Regional customers)
- Bridge data from Business Intelligence on current customer behavior vs. intended marketing strategies
- Work with the agency ecosystem to scale content and ad testing methodologies
- Work closely with global Prime Video research teams to identify synergies across research roadmaps
- Identify Voice of Customer need-gaps and answer for the same with research studies
- Working knowledge of tools to help with setting up ad-hoc customer surveys
Basic Qualifications :
· Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
· Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal with stakeholders
· Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
· 5+ years of marketing experience
· Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
Preferred Qualifications :
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
· 8-10 years experience in Research, preferably on the Business Side
· Experience with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies
· Experience in independent project management with critical timelines and high complexity
· Masters Degree in business, statistics of mathematics
· Updated with evolving methodologies and analysis tools
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Proven experience of delivering insights that translate into strong business outcomes (mass media campaigns, product launches and/or new initiatives)
· Experience with building and influencing Senior Stakeholders on customer-backwards thinking
· Experience in setting research objectives, writing surveys, creating samples, weighting schemes and analysis
· Familiarity with Statistical Modelling methodologies
· Ability to translate complex data sets into clear and compelling written narratives
· Ability to create bespoke research solutions suited to evolving needs and requirements
· Self-starter spirit with ownership of all research studies end to end
