We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
Job Profile:
In this role, you will:
  • Install and upgrade of Qlik Sense in both Cloud and On-Premise Solutions using both cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).
  • Define best practices for Qlik deployment and create reusable templates.
  • 4+ years of experience in BI server administration (mainly Qlik Sense, Nprinting and Qlikview).
  • Configure data source connections and manage asset libraries.
  • Research and recommend alternative actions for problem resolution based on best practices and application functionality with minimal direction.
  • Monitor the Qlik Sense platform and recommend platform improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Qlik Sense platform issues.
  • Perform data extraction, cleansing, analysis, visualization and storytelling.
  • In a rapidly evolving business environment, demands for developing new systems and enhancements to the existing systems are increasing to take advantage of potential new business lines. This requires knowledge of the existing systems as well as the business and a combination of an analytical and challenging mind, learning abilities and planning. The job holder should demonstrate excellent analytical capabilities, technical skills, learning abilities, team skills and ability to work independently. The job holder must have the ability and commitment to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Define current state and target state architecture for the strategic applications.
  • Create the solution architecture based on the business concept, goals & objectives and high-level requirements.
  • Build new and innovative solutions that can help solve business and technical challenges.
  • Perform code review for the Engineering teams and test newer technologies, engineering practices by developing POCs.
  • Proactive adoption of innovative technologies that enable rapid delivery.
  • Provide best practices are utilized in delivering Reporting/Analytics, Data Management and Integration Solutions.
  • Knowledge of distributed data technologies like GCP, Data warehousing etc.
  • Experience with DevOps practices - CI/CD pipelines and public cloud (GCP/AWS)

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills presentation skills preferred
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Minimum 10 years of work experience and experience in Financial domain (Banking).
  • Vast experience in BI solutions architecture preferably with Qlik Sense, Qlikview, Qlik Nprinting and Tableau.
  • Experience of Installation and configuration of different Qlik products in On- Premise and cloud preferably in Google Cloud, AWS.
  • Project management and leadership skills are essential
  • Experience developing IT and cloud infrastructure
  • Current understanding of best practices regarding different Qlik products (Qlik Sense, Qlikview, Nprinting and GeoAnalytics)
  • Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential
  • Ability to work with a degree of autonomy while also being able to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and spoken)
