Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Support multiple customers including troubleshooting, provide best practices recommendations for configuring, testing, documenting, upgrading, and implementing systems and/or software
  • Follow Velocity Managed Services consulting methods and processes
  • Ensuring client requirements are met by actively soliciting, identifying, and responding to customer questions and assisting with issue resolution
  • Working collaboratively and build relationships with other consultants, customer staff, and third-party consultants
  • Intermediate Consultants should be comfortable working with highly knowledgeable JD Edwards end-users and able to quickly understand unique client requirements and configurations
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 3 -7 plus years of JD Edwards consulting experience with JD Edwards products
  • Ability to manage multiple client assignments, tasks, and priorities, and work independently
  • Adept at designing and implementing technology-enabled business solutions for clients
  • Previous experience as a senior consultant
  • Must be able to consult at 'C' level and influence process direction/decisions
  • Proven ability to develop/implement best practices, guides, and processes
  • Ability to travel occasionally to client sites
  • JD Edwards – Oracle training completion and certifications
  • Candidate must ensure that compliance with data protection legislation under the DPA, EU GDPR, any other ​applicable ​data protection legislation.
Skills:
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Solid understanding of the software maintenance/ implementation process, including requirements, gathering, analysis, tools, and technologies, and testing methodologies
  • Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations
