5+ years of experience in providing technical support with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong knowledge in one or more of the following – Kubernetes, Linux Administration, Networking, DevOps
Worked directly with customers in providing high-end technical support including troubleshooting in Cloud Services.
Strong understanding of administration (user accounts, permission models, access control)
Familiarity with networking (NAT, firewalls, basic routing, load balancing, etc.)
Familiarity with common Linux troubleshooting tools (vmstat, iostat, lsof, strace, etc.)
Experience with VMs and Container (Google Compute Engine, GKE, VMware, Amazon EC2, etc.)
Certifications in Google Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure
Roles & Responsibilities
Provide support for Google Cloud Platform products and solutions including, Google Kubernetes Engine, Google Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, Stackdriver, and other Google-related services.
To work as a team, and understand issues mentioned in cases
Escalate issues to Google support when required and keep following.
Follow GCP best practices guidance and keep your knowledge up to date.
Ensuring accurate and timely resolution for assigned cases.
Providing front line support for multiple clients
On-call support or remote assistance as required needs to be done.
Investigate and resolve customer incidents and cases.
Administrator-level knowledge of Linux/Unix or Windows systems.
Network/Performance monitoring and logging
IT Security concepts and applications
Experience with Google Apps for Business (Gmail, Sites, Docs)
Candidates should be open to working in US shift timing and get trained and certified on Google cloud (Associate cloud engineer/ Professional Cloud Architect ) within the first 180 days of joining.
