Work Location : Bangalore
Provide leadership and technical oversight for a team of engineers and building solutions and capabilities at scale and high standards
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand the business problems and then design and develop the required solution.
Provide technical thought leadership towards solving the problems of the team.
Drive the adoption of engineering best practices.
Understand the requirements, current state architecture of the enterprise applications and craft the cloud strategy and road map.
Develop and nurture team of developers by motivating and mentoring and assist in hiring talent.
Bring in the technical expertise for cloud infrastructure perspective for applications hosted across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS from cloud platforms
Design and implement CICD/DevOps and automation frameworks and pipeline in a dynamic and fast paced development environment.
Craft proactive technical propositions.
Design develop highly scalable and fault tolerant distributed systems
Architect and roll out infrastructure automation, monitoring and security (Chef-provisioning, Terraform, Chef/Ansible)
Implement APIs and integration patterns, Security for web applications and enterprise components.
Bring in the technical expertise for cloud infrastructure perspective for applications hosted across SaaS, PaaS and IaaS from cloud platforms
Drive the adoption of engineering best practices.Roles and Responsibilities
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field with 14 plus years of overall experience defining application architecture for large enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
At least 4+ years of experience as an architect in platform engineering across various cloud computing models and Hands on experience in cloud implementation /migration experience with any of the public cloud platform services like AWS or Azure
Mush have experience in core java, JEE technologies, REST based web services, ESB and working knowledge of SOA, WSDL, Service orchestration and container-based technologies.
Proficient in working with relational databases.
Must have experience in cloud native application patterns and tools, micro services architecture, application migration to cloud platform.
Proven track record of responsibilities as tech lead.
Excellent understanding of infrastructure, virtualization, containers, network, storage, monitoring tools, and experience with application performance management tools (Splunk, App dynamics, Dyna Trace etc).
Must have experience architecting solutions with continues integration and continues delivery.
Strong understanding of of architecture patterns and operational characteristics of high available and scalable applications.
Experience with service orchestration frameworks such as of Kubernetes, Dockers and Cloud native applications is a plus
Good knowledge of cloud services, network and security of the infrastructure.
Ability to influence multiple teams that do not report into the role
Prior experience in cloud migration from public/private cloud to hybrid cloud.
Experience in CI/CD tools and processes (Jenkins, Ansible, Chef, and/or Terraform)
Deep understanding and appreciation of agile principles
Experience in building high performing Engineering teams
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills in particular and demonstrated ability to effectively communicate technical and business issues and solutions to multiple organization levels internally and externally.
